What customers say?

“ Small congee-and-noodle shop, clean and efficient. Fast turnover, so expect a wait or shared tables at peak hours. Staff are polite. We had the signature wonton lo mein. Springy noodles, balanced sauce. Wontons are ping‑pong sized, tightly packed with crunchy shrimp and lightly seasoned pork. The mixed offal congee was generous—large cuts of liver, intestine, and tripe with no off flavors. Congee base is smooth and thick, seasoning kept light. Fresh ingredients, solid portions, and wallet‑friendly prices. A dependable stop for a quick, satisfying Cantonese bowl. ”

“ A small eatery in Temple Market, very much a local Hong Kong spot — simple but always busy. I ordered wonton noodles, congee, and fish balls. The wonton wrappers were thin and springy, with fresh shrimp filling that didn’t fall apart. The congee was cooked just right — smooth but not mushy, with generously cut pieces of meat that kept their natural sweetness. My favorite was the fish balls with clam sauce. The sauce was thick, fragrant with clam flavor, lightly salty, and paired perfectly with the hot, bouncy fish balls — very addictive. A small place with great quality. If you’re looking for light, authentic local Hong Kong food, this spot is well worth a visit. ”

“ One of the best congee around this area. Had the signature sampan congee and taste was good. The rice noodles goes well with the peanut sauce and the chicken wings was done well ”
